As per the new directives from local government and communication from Consulate General of India, Dubai, U.A.E., Indian Association Sharjah will provide Consular Attestation services on Sunday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Officials from the Consulate General of India, Dubai, visit the Association on Sunday Morning to render the Consular Service. This service is available at Indian Association Sharjah on Sundays only. Documents for attestation can be submitted at the Association Counter on weekdays from Saturday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and on Friday from 8am to 11:30 am and 5pm to 10pm. The document verification and submission counter will function only from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Sunday Morning and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday Evening. The verification and submission of the document does not ensure attestation. It is the sole discretion of the Consul In-Charge of attestation to accept or reject an application.

Indian Association Sharjah is one of the nodal centres selected by the Government of Kerala Education Department for the Class 10 and 12 Equivalency Examination conducted by the Kerala State Saksharatha Mission.
Goverment of India has outsourced the Indian Passport & Visa service. Now application for new Indian passports/ visas and renewal of Indian passports are handled by BLS only. They have a counter at IAS premises.
IAS members and non-members can register to be a member of IAS Shuttle badminton club. Based on availability of space and timing slots will be alloted.
o Annual health checkup camps and test services are organized in partnership with reputed clinics and service providers for the welfare of the Indian community members.
o Annual blood donation camps are conducted in association with the blood bank services of the Ministry of Health UAE.
o Health care services are extended to distressed community member so as to support them for illness or chronic ailments requiring high end medical and health care facilities.
o Support is provided to expat Indians (NRI) particularly who are stranded in UAE due to legal or health issues by way of providing exit passes and air tickets as per the advice of the officials of the Indian Consulate and the decision of the IAS Management.
IAS Community Hall and Conference Hall ares alloted on rent for conducting programmes subject to the approval of the local authorities. Programmes of religions nature, prayer and which are against the local rules are not permitted.

Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qassimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah has been kind and considerate enough to provide us land for the construction of a Crematorium for cremation of the Hindu/Sikh community members enabling the rites to be conducted in a clean and serene atmosphere and giving a hon’ble send off to the soul of the deceased as per custom. This facility is now enjoyed by people of other nationalities in UAE also.

The Indian community members can become members of the Library functioning from the IAS by paying a onetime membership subscription fee. The collection of books available in the library is constantly reviewed and the books purchased as per the requirements and suggestions of the members. The books are available to for reading and is issued to members. The library aims to provide e-learning and information services to its members later at nominal charges.
Professional advisory and effective counseling services are offered to the community members and people in distress or facing hardships, labor or employment, health and family issues, and overstay. Such members of the community are given a patient listening and sincere efforts are made to render right kind of advisory, legal and visa related advisory to enable them to support and overcome their situations through mutual dialogue and interaction with the Consulate officials, Immigration and Labor authorities and Local Sponsors of the subject in UAE.
