INDIAN ASSOCIATION SHARJAH APPOINTED NEW PRINCIPAL FOR SHARJAH INDIAN SCHOOL, JUWAIZA Indian Association Sharjah is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Vijimon Iyyappan as the new Principal of Sharjah Indian School, Juwaiza (Boys), following the retirement of the current Principal. Mr. Vijimon Iyyappan is a distinguished educationist with over 21 years of extensive experience in academic leadership and school administration across various states in India. He holds an MA, M.Phil, B.Ed, and BCT, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Social Work. Prior to this appointment, he served as Academic Director of the DFT Group of Schools, Chennai, where he was responsible for overseeing academic operations, curriculum implementation, and faculty development across 29 CBSE-affiliated schools. His previous roles include Principal of Green Field School International, Kakinada, and Assistant Academic Director with the Amrita Group of Schools. Throughout his career, Mr. Vijimon has played a key role in transforming educational practices through the adoption of competency-based learning, technology integration, and innovative teaching methodologies. He has also contributed significantly to teacher training and institutional development, having trained over 6,000 educators. A certified CBSE Resource Person (ISTM), he is widely recognized for his expertise in curriculum design, assessment systems, and modern pedagogical approaches. His vision focuses on nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped with 21st-century skills, ethical values, and global competencies. The selection process was conducted through a leading international recruitment agency to ensure a transparent and merit-based approach, identifying a candidate with exceptional qualifications, experience, and leadership capabilities.
