IAS provides Attestation services of various documents. Officials from the Indian Consulate Dubai visit the Association on Fridays and Tuesday evenings and render the attestation service. This service is available at Indian Association Sharjah only on Fridays. Documents for attestation can be submitted at the Association Counter on Friday and Tuesday evenings. The submission counter will work only up to 10.30 am on Fridays and 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm on tuesdays. Priority tokens will be issued on first come first served basis. Documents complete in all respects only will be accepted at the counter. Submission of document does not ensure attestation. It is at the sole discretion of the Consul in charge of attestation. Attestation service is from 9.00 am to 11.30 am on Fridays.

Following are the details of IAS Consular Services.

  1. For each Consular Service the Personal Presence of the Executant with Original Documents and Passport is necessary.
  2.  Photocopies of each document and passport is also necessary (First, last Address and valid visa page)
  3.  Documents need to be signed in presence of the Consular Officer.
  4. Two Passport size photographs of the Executant are necessary for Will and Power of Attorney.
  5. All the documents will be issued after service on the service day (Friday).
  6. The Executant should be prepared to produce any other relevant document demanded by the Consular Officer
  7. If the Consular Officer refuses the services on any applications received at the counter for any relevant additional document, The Association will not be responsible for it.

 o   Annual health checkup camps and test services are organized in partnership with reputed clinics and service providers for the welfare of the Indian community members.

o   Annual blood donation camps are conducted in association with the blood bank services of the Ministry of Health UAE.

o   Health care services are extended to distressed community member so as to support them for illness or chronic ailments requiring high end medical and health care facilities.

o   Support is provided to expat Indians (NRI) particularly who are stranded in UAE due to legal or health issues by way of providing exit passes and air tickets as per the advice of the officials of the Indian Consulate and the decision of the IAS Management.

The collection of books available in the library is constantly reviewed and the books purchased as per the requirements and suggestions of the members.
